Language in Art – Guild Group Show Artists are increasingly engaged in conversation with their viewers. Lecturing them, persuading them, cajoling. Trying to convince them to see the world as they see it themselves, or perhaps, as they would wish their admirers would see it. This juried Guild Group show will showcase the range of directions in which artists incorporate language into their art and seek to engage the viewer into this dialogue.  

Director’s Choice: Kirill Doran An exhibit of still-life and trompe l’oeil, (a technique used in realistic paintings to trick the eye through the use of perspective to create an illusion of three-dimensionality) portrayed with astounding details offering insight and introspection.
