Conservation Conversation: A Live, Interactive Discussion

Bruce Museum
6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

A conservation-themed panel discussion.  Light refreshments precede the discussion, which begins at 6:30 pm. In association with the exhibition National Geographic Photo Ark, the Bruce Museum hosts a panel discussion with experts from across the conservation spectrum. These experts include Dara Reid (Director of Wildlife in Crisis), Gregg Dancho (Director of Beardsley Zoo), Tim Walsh, a turtle conservation expert from the Bruce Museum, and more. This interactive discussion will be driven by audience questions. Find out how zoo breeding programs help endangered species, how we can stop the trafficking of endangered species across the globe, and what you can do to help Connecticut’s very own endangered species.  Advance reservation: Members and students with ID, free; non-members $15. At the door: $10 for Bruce Museum members, $25 for nonmembers.  The Museum will open at 5:50 pm. Image: Critically endangered bog turtle, native to Connecticut. Photo by Tim Walsh.
