Wilderness Survival Camp At Audubon Greenwich (Grades 6-9)

Audubon Greenwich
8/14/17 - 8/18/17

Sharpen your wilderness survival skills at Audubon Greenwich this summer! Led by experienced Audubon naturalists, campers will learn what it takes to survive in the backcountry. Preparing shelters, primitive fire making, orienteering, making tools, finding wild foods, and playing fun outdoor games are a few examples of how campers will build their outdoor survival skills. In addition, campers will learn how field scientists conduct ecological field work in remote areas and how they can contribute their data to national online citizen science databases. We will end the week with a roaring campfire, a night hike, and an overnight at Audubon Greenwich.
