Speaker Mark Albertson, college history teacher and research editor at
Army Aviation magazine, is an avid lecturer and writer. He will discuss the causes of the conflict, America’s limited success at sea, invasions of Canada, burning of Washington, etc., and also the War’s significance as a sub-conflict of the Napoleonic Wars going on in Europe.
