Join FCBuzz Goes Live on Wednesday, February 8 at 5:30 pm for the opening reception of the Human Solidarity - Polish Solidarnosc exhibit. This exhibit is a joint Polish/American project carried out under the auspices of the Consulate of the Polish Republic in New York.  Created in 2010, the exhibit marks the 30th anniversary of the Polish “Solidarity” movement. It portrays the history of Solidarnosc through maps, photos, press clippings and a narrative that also makes connections with the history of the American labor movement.

The exhibit will run February 5 – 10, 2012 from 12 pm – 7 PM daily at the William H. Pitt Health & Recreation Center Board Room

FCBuzz Goes Live was created by the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County in partnership with the Avon Theatre, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Connecticut's Beardsley Zoo, Gallery of Contemporary Art at Sacred Heart University, Fairfield Arts Center, Fairfield Museum and History Center, Fairfield Theatre Company, Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts at Fairfield University, Ridgefield Arts Council, Shakespeare on the Sound, Silvermine Arts Center, Stepping Stones Museum for Children, Westport Arts Center and the Westport Country Playhouse.
